1987 Founding of the company
In June 1987, KTW K. Weißhaupt GmbH was spun out of the design office at that time 18 years existing. KTW specializes in individual solutions in manufacturing technology. With a lot of expertise and creativity we find special solutions in engineering, especially in load bearing, clamping and mounting devices. Based on our experience, we are particularly strong in the development and production of semi- and fully automated systems.
2003 The new company building
The new building was built in 2003 and is owned by the family. Thus, the KTW can develop and offer their design and manufacturing services.
2010 Nadine Weishaupt is part of the executive management
After Nadine Weißhaupt was able to gain leadership experience in another company she entered 2008 in the family business. On her father's side she is now part of the executive management.
2012 25 years KTW K. Weißhaupt GmbH
A quarter of a century was celebrated at KTW.
After the successful opening ceremony (with Prof. Martin Herzog as the guest speaker) KTW could be visited. Customers, suppliers, representatives of public life, employees and their family members were gathered and were delighted with all employees over the 25 year anniversary.

2019 Change of Management
Since December 2018 Nadine Weißhaupt has been managing the fortunes of KTW Germany as a commercial manager.
Peter Hatzing takes over the technical management by January 2019. The longtime employee and head of construction succeeds Michael Reitter, who retired on 31.12.2018.
2022 Saying goodbye to Nadine Weißhaupt
Nadine Weißhaupt left the management on 01.01.2022 and will support the company in the future as chairman of the advisory board and as a consultant.
Peter Hatzing takes over the sole management as of 01.01.2022, having previously been KTW's technical managing director since 2019.
As support, Selina Weißhaupt takes over the role of commercial management in the future. In addition, she will be granted power of attorney.
2023 Change of Management
Günther Höfle joins the company as an experienced managing director. Mr. Hatzing and Mr. Höfle manage the company together.

Quality policy
The objective of KTW Friedrichshafen is to develop and produce products in the field of production technology and automation and to provide services which meet the requirements of the customers and fulfill the legal regulations.
As customer satisfaction is obligatory for KTW Friedrichshafen, a high level of quality and reliability is a mandatory requirement. Of course, quality assurance is carried out throughout the entire process chain, from the constructive design, through production and assembly, to support in use at the customer's site.
The quality policy of KTW Friedrichshafen as well as the quality management system are aimed at achieving the set goals under consideration of economic aspects. The processes and defined procedures described in our quality management manual serve to fulfill the quality requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
Essential for the effectiveness of the quality management system of KTW Friedrichshafen is the participation of every single employee in the company in the quality fulfillment of our customer specifications. Therefore, the employees of KTW Fried-richshafen are also called upon to comply with the requirements according to quality regulations and instructions and to support the quality management in the fulfillment of the tasks.

Systematic quality management
We ensure high standards of our products and services through systematic quality management. This includes:

  • constant comparison of requirements with our customers
  • close contact and auditing of our suppliers
  • Application of zero-defect strategies
  • continuous optimization and improvement of our processes

The key to highest quality is our responsible employees.
Compliance
The whistleblower system of KTW K. Weißhaupt GmbH gives you the opportunity to inform us about violations of the law or disregard of the compliance guidelines and to contribute to their detection.

Adherence to legal regulations and internal compliance rules
Adherence to legal regulations and internal compliance rules is a top priority for KTW K. Weißhaupt GmbH. Violations of these must be detected at an early stage in order to initiate appropriate countermeasures and avert possible damage to customers, employees, business partners and the company.

Violations in the company
In order to detect violations and infringements within the company in various ways, not only internal employees, but also external information regarding violations of antitrust law, money laundering or fraud as well as bribery offenses can be submitted.
